How Leaders Evaluate CHOICES

There's no such thing, as only one path, for those in positions of leadership, to opt to take! There's not even, simply, one option, which might work effectively, although, generally, there are usually, certain approaches, which are most applicable, relevant and sustainable, for the specific organization! One of the main purposes of having potential leaders, undergo, a professionally designed, focused, leadership training program, is to better prepare these individuals for leading, by adding their skill - set, knowledge, etc, and hopefully, developing greater wisdom, so they become significant, more accomplished, decision makers. This article will briefly discuss, using the mnemonic approach, how effective, true leaders evaluate CHOICES.
1. Create; character; clarity; cooperation: Isn't the mark of a leader, the ability to meaningfully, create the best possible scenario, for his organization, and stakeholders? Few are able to do so, because it requires possessing the highest quality, selfless, character, who prioritizes the needs of the group, over his self - interest! How will anyone ever inspire others to strive for cooperation, for the common good, until/ unless, he learns to articulate his message, with inspirational clarity?
2. Healing; head/ heart: Those in positions of leadership, must determine and decide, whether they will seek an adversarial approach, or, one, which focuses on healing, and cooperation, for the best interests of the group, and constituents! One must not use, either too much logic, or too much emotion, when deliberating and deciding, his best course of action! This absolute commitment to a head/ heart balance, creates stronger, more meaningful leaders!
3. Options; opportunities: Do all you can, to expand your options, and, thus, consider all alternatives, with an open - mind! Great leaders consistently prepare for all opportunities, opting for the most appropriate ones!
4. Integrity; ideas; imagination; intents: Begin by objectively evaluating your true intentions, and determining your reasons, for wanting to serve as a leader. Commit to absolute integrity! Be the creator of ideas, and proactively implement them, by possessing and using, a well - developed, service - oriented imagination!
5. Clever: In order to effectively, make a difference for the better, and moving beyond the same - old, same - old, one must enhance his skills, use them properly, consider alternatives, and proceed, in the cleverest way! Are you prepared to serve in a clever way?
6. Empathy; excellence: The goal of a meaningful leader, must be consistently based on excellence! This must be based on serving the needs, concerns, priorities and perceptions of his constituents, by focusing on absolute empathy!
7. Strengthen; sustainable system: How might you strengthen your organization, in a proactive way? The goal and objective of a leader, must be to focus on relevance, and creating, implementing, and developing a sustainable system!
Great leaders understand how important it is, to effectively evaluate and consider CHOICES. Will you do what must be done?
