Ketogentics - A Real Anwser to Permanent Weight Loss And Acheiving A Healthy Lifestyle

In The United States obesity epidemic continues to rise. We have 38% of our adult population are considered obese. Another 33% of persons are considered overweight. This is according to The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.
The numbers are even higher for women. Women, because of our child-bearing bodies, have other female related factors we must contend with. Elevated estrogen levels and different female hormones have our bodies already at a higher fat percentage. Obesity is medically defined as having a body index (BMI) of more than 30%. Personally, I have dieted almost my entire adult life. I'm now over the age of 50. I began to look for a better way to approach food.
A Ketogenic is a diet known as a very low carb diet. It is a high fat, moderate protein and low carb intake diet. It turns your body into a fat burning machine. There is a much more scientific explanation but basically you force your body to produce ketones in the liver to be used for energy. On the opposite end, eating foods high in carbs and sugars your body will produce glucose and raise insulin levels.
Although Ketogenics is new to many, it has been around as early as 1920's. Many studies have been published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Studies concluded documented weight loss and participants were able to consume less food. The Mayo Clinic has confirmed the keto lifestyle can have a healthful effect on serious health conditions, like cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. It improves levels of HDL cholesterol.
To enter into ketosis, you need to reduce your carbs to under 50 grams a day. Ideally 25-30 carbs max. Your fat intake should be about 75% of your meals and about 15 % protein. It varies from person to person, but with consistency you should be able to get into ketosis within 3-14 days.
When you consume high amount of carbohydrates your metabolism spends most of the time burning carbs for fuel. You never get to burn stored fat. If you decrease the amount of available carbs, your body must switch to burning your fat.
Seven tips for getting into ketosis.
1. Minimize your carb intake to 25-50 net carbs a day.
2. Include coconut oil in your diet.
3. Ramp up your physical activity.
4. Increase healthy fats.
5. Short periods of fasting,
6. Maintain protein intake.
7. Test ketones levels.
If you are considering these dietary changes, it is always recommended that you check with your physician. Keto is a lifestyle change. You are changing the way you eat. In order for you to gain success, you should be consistent and consider the long term consequences.

Clearing The Castle

Life is hard enough as it is without having a place to retreat to. Your home is your castle. That is why I believe it is so important to keep it peaceful and balanced. Without a place that you feel safe in, you never really get the opportunity to unwind and decompress. I like to feel that your home, your castle is a sacred place. So the importance of clearing it takes on a new meaning.
Have you ever gotten sick while you were traveling? It's the worst. The first thought that so many of us have is we want to be home. Why is that? It's because somehow we feel comfortable, in control in our own environment. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled quite a bit. And there comes a point when you just crave home, no matter how much fun or how nice the place you are visiting. We all know that famous line, "There's no place like home".
So what do I mean when I say clearing the castle? Exactly what it sounds like. Clearing it off all the things that take away the peace, joy and comfort one needs to relax and reflect in. Holding this space as sacred as life itself. So how do you clear the castle? Here are a few tips that I have found to be helpful.
1. Your castle doesn't need to be meticulous, but it should at least be organized. Knowing where everything is, or at least the area in general will save on time and confusion. If you share your castle with another, it gets a bit more complicated. Which leads us to the next tip.
2. Have your own space in your shared space. I have been with my wife for 15 years at the time of this writing. What is interesting to so many people is, when they find out that when we travel, we both have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Although we have connecting rooms, this allows for each of us to completely relax. We are generally on different sleep schedules so this provides the space to sleep without interruption. It also allows for us to have separate TV's should we find we're in different show mode, or if one of us want to read in quiet. And finally, there is no competing for a bathroom. Same holds true for our castle. We both keep our own space.
3. When sharing a castle, be mindful of the energy. You know those one hundred and one things that your partner does to irritate you? Try your best not to bring them up. Be it dirty clothes on the floor, leaving lights on or dishes in the sink. If its going to be a nightly discussion that turns into an argument, leave it alone. Would you rather be right, or rested? Hence having your own space.
4. Get rid of all the things you no longer use, want or need. I once read a book years ago that said if you do not use an item in a year, get rid of it. I'm a little more practical. But, if you're holding on to clothes for example, that you have not worn in 5 years, ask yourself if you really need it, or can you make space for the new?
5. Design your castle how you want to feel. Mine is set up for comfort and convenience. I'm a fan of art, music and spiritual things. You will not find a room in my castle that does not have 2 if not all 3. This speaks to both my wife and I. It represents how we want to feel. No matter what the day holds for us, when we come home the castle is clean, comfortable and peaceful.
Like it or not we all are a product of our environment. There are so many things beyond our control. So, what you can control, you should control. This is your castle. Be it you're renting a room from someone, or you own your own home. Those 4 walls that contain you hold power. There are numerous studies to suggest just that.
A little thing like decorating, cleaning or clearing the castle can pay huge dividends to your life. Make the effort. It does not require a lot of money, if any at all. So remember the next time you're having an awful day or counting down the hours at work, think "there's no place like home".

Debunking PEO Company Myths

If you're considering partnering with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), you're no doubt familiar with the many advantages they offer. But you've probably also heard rumors about their potential pitfalls.
The good news is you don't have to worry. Many of the disadvantages commonly attributed to PEO companies are myths based on misconceptions of how they work with small businesses. Let's look at-and correct-some of these myths.
Myth 1: If I work with a PEO, I'll lose control of my company. This is false. Of course, it's normal for employers to worry about outsiders having access to the inner workings of their businesses. But they should remember that PEO companies work for them, not the other way around. This means the provider honors your vision for your business when handling your payroll and human resources administration.
Myth 2: I won't save any money. This is also false. Some of the many ways companies save with PEO companies include:
  • Lower workers' compensation and health insurance costs. PEOs have the buying power to get you better coverage at lower prices than you can negotiate on your own.
  • Lower employee turnover. Hiring, firing, and recruiting can take a big hit on your productivity. With your provider's professional HR support, you can be confident of hiring great people while fostering a productive, welcoming work environment that'll keep them on your side.
  • More time to focus on profit. A PEO provider frees you to work on your business, not just in your business. Think of all the hours you spend now on payroll and human resources tasks-then think of all the ways you could grow your business if you got those hours back. Your provider makes it possible.
Myth 3: PEOs are the same as other HR outsourcing organizations. PEO companies do far more than just free you from HR paperwork. They also take on some of the most difficult burdens of running a business, such as providing employee benefits like group health insurance. In addition, they take on much of the legal liability of your company, giving you extra security and peace of mind.
Myth 4: My employees won't feel comfortable working with a PEO. If you've always prided yourself on treating your team like your family, you need not worry. Your provider won't interfere with the relationships you've worked so hard to cultivate. While your provider handles all your paperwork, you remain in charge of day-to-day operations. So for your team members, working with you will feel just the same as before, only better. With your PEO partnership, you'll be able to offer them the same generous benefits as big companies, even if your business is still small.
The bottom line: Contrary to these myths, PEOs actually give you more control over your business and give you the resources to build even stronger relationships with your team. Real Estate Closings: 5 Needs To Remember

Congratulations! You've hoped for, and found, the house, you believe, best serves your needs, requirements, concerns, etc. If you are like most people, you will be using a mortgage, to provide a significant amount of the necessary payment, and gone through the trials and tribulations of the process, and emerged successfully approved, for the amount you needed and/ or desired. Finally, before the deed on the house, transfers from the present owner, to you, you will have to emerge from what many first - time buyers, refer to, as the dreaded, real estate closing. Let's review 5 things, which may be requested from you, so you aren't surprised, but rather are as prepared as possible, thus making this, go far more smoothly, and with less stress!
1. Where the earnest money came from: Lending institutions often question, where one got the funds, to put down, also known as the earnest money. For example, if a property sells for $500,000, and you are to put 20% down, that means $100,000 down - payment. Generally, when you sign the contract, you will be expected to put an amount down, known as earnest money. This amount is often 10%, so in this case, someone would put $50,000 down, upon signing the contract, and a similar amount payable at the closing. You might often be asked to show where this money came from, by submitting a few months bank statements, or investment statements, etc.
2. Tax returns: Mortgage banks and brokers, generally require the buyer, to submit the two, most recent, years, tax returns. This is generally done, by signing a form, permitting, them to get these from the government. Be prepared to answer anything, which might tend to be somewhat confusing!
3. Investment statements: Gather the investment statements from your investments. Generally, you will be asked, also, for the past year, or two, and especially, the most recent few quarters.
4. Bank statements: You'll have to provide, at least, the last 2 bank statements, and some might ask for 3 or 4. Be certain these indicate, clearly, you can afford the home, you are purchasing.
5. Know your credit rating: Do you have a, high - enough, credit rating, to assure the lending institution? The best approach, is to fully evaluate this, carefully, prior to begin your house - hunting!
There are many other closing requirements, but the above 5, are consistent, and, if one is prepared properly, should be no problem! As the Boy Scout Motto goes, Be prepared!

The Sanctity In the Relapse

QUITTING cold turkey is the most heroic of acts, and God grants us all opportunities to achieve such feats. But relapse is not uncommon. I quit smoking at least six times (for at least a few months up to a few years) before I finally gave it away fourteen years ago. It was the same with the drink, but I did need a programmed intervention for that.
A strength of the AA program is its approach to relapse, but it is also its weakness. Plenty of those who see themselves as alcoholics do so in order that they never relapse, because they never accord themselves the luxury (or buffoonery) of picking up even one more drink. One weakness is that AA's may never transcend the label, and continue to consider themselves alcoholics, which also part of the mastery of AA to recover drunks into sobriety. Thankfully, AA teaches people the model of spiritual progress based on the revolutionary Twelve Step Program.
I've been around recovery programs enough to know that relapses are both feared and shunned. And this is sad. Sure, relapse is always disappointing.
But the fact is, relapse will be a reality for some, and everyone will experience relapse in some form or other during their lifetime.
There is a sanctity in the relapse, in that there is the redemptive nature of the second (even the sixty-second) chance. Recovery itself is a second chance.
It's the same regarding evangelism and faith. We sow the seed of the gospel and it falls on various kinds of soil. Few get it first time. Some get it initially. Most will 'relapse' back into the world. Many will never return to God, but some of the most do reconvert in powerful ways.
It isn't our prerogative nor even our business when others near us relapse. Other than to support them. We certainly have no business criticising or condemning them. It's God's mercy that forgives their relapse, just as it is God's grace to bring them back.
It's also none of our business who commit to God and who don't. That's God's business. Ours is to simply remain faithful in presenting the message of God faithfully.
God's love is so potent and so perfect that He allows every person their will every step of the way. Transformation happens only when a person's will joins with God's will. That's the sanctity in the relapse - it is in every person's sovereign power and choice to relapse or recover and be transformed.
There is sanctity in relapse because God never gives up seeking us for our recovery. It is for God's redemptive purpose that we both relapse and recover. It is all about learning.
God love's us too much to save us from our learning.

Relationships: What Can Happen When Someone No Longer Feels Worthless?

If one was to take a step, so to speak, they may find is that there have been moments in their life when they haven't feel too good about themselves. This is then going to be the exception as opposed to the rule.
Now and Then
When they do feel this way, it could show that they have done something wrong, or this could just be what they believe. Perhaps they have just spent a time with someone who didn't treat them very well.
But even though they feel this way, this is likely to be a time when they will talk to themselves in a positive way. There is then going to be a part of them that is not in a good way and another part that is there to take care of this part.
Self-Support
This is then the same as what will happen when a loving mother/father sees that their child is upset. In this instance, the parent will give the child that which he/she is unable to give themselves.
At this age, the child is not going to have the ability to regulate their own emotions, and this is why an attuned parent is so important. This can then be the reason why one has the ability to soothe themselves as an adult.
Two Benefits
Through having at least one parent around at this time who behaved in this way, it would have stopped them from being overwhelmed by their emotions as a child. This would have allowed their brain to develop in the right way.
As the years went by, it would have been easier for them to regulate their own emotions, and this is why they will feel comfortable enough to tolerate emotional discomfort as an adult. And how they talk to themselves as an adult will be similar to how their parent/s talked to them when they were younger.
Moving Forward
So, if they have done something wrong, they can look into what they can do to put it right. There will be no need for them to beat themselves up about it and to sink even further into themselves.
If they have just spent time with someone who didn't treat them very well, they might decide to keep their distance from now on. There will be no reason for them to spend time with someone who is not good for them.
Self-Love
Ultimately, one is going to be in touch with their inherent value, and this is why they experience life in this way. What will feel comfortable is spending time around people who treat them with respect.
It could be said that this is the ideal way for someone to experience life; their life will be far more fulfilling that it would be if this wasn't the case. There are then going to be others who experience life differently.
The Norm
When one experience life in this way, they could find that they have the tendency to feel bad about themselves. It is then not going to matter if they have done anything wrong, as they will feel this way anyway.
How they treat themselves is not going to be a lot different to how they are treated by other people. From the outside, it might seem as though they are being victimised by others, but it is not going to be this black and white.
Looking Deeper
If someone was to listen to what takes place in their mind and they were to see how they treat themselves, they would be in for a surprise. One is not going to be their own best friend, and this is going to make their life harder than it needs to be.
What this is likely to show is that they didn't receive the kind of care that they needed when they were younger. One may have been abused and/or neglected, and this would have caused them to disconnect from their inherent value, amongst other things.
A New Start
After experiencing life in this way for as long as they can remember, one may get to the point where they are no longer willing to carry on in this way. This could cause them to reach out for external support and to gradually heal themselves.
As this process takes places, one is going to find that they feel different and that they no longer talk to themselves in the same way. This will then cause them to see themselves differently.
Two Parts
Their inner world will have changed, and it will then be normal for them to change how they behave. This could the mean that some of their relationships will come to an end and that new connections will be formed.
One will treat themselves better and this is why they will expect other people to do the same. How they respond to negative feedback is also likely to change, and this is because it won't penetrate them like it used to.
Inner Strength
So if someone was to put them down or to project their own issues onto them, it could bounce straight off them; there will be nothing within them for it to latch onto. One will be able to stay in their power and there will be no reason for them to react.
It might not stop there though, as one might no longer want to carry on doing the same job, or they might expect more from what they do. Now that they feel better about themselves, it might cause them to go after something they have put off for so long.
Awareness
If one doesn't value themselves, and they want this to change, it might be a good idea for them to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided by a therapist or a healer.

Treating Wounds At Home

There are people that don't enjoy going to the emergency room to get patched up. Who does? There are many reasons for this which extends from embarrassment to fear. If you are the type of person that can handle self-patching, you should know exactly how to do it.
Firstly, you need to identify the type of wound. Different scratches and cuts require different care.
Scratches - these are the quickest healing sores. You need to wait for the liquid to clot so that you can apply a waterproof plaster over. You want to use a waterproof plaster because the plaster needs to stay on as long as possible to avoid any bacteria from entering your body. You might not need to add a plaster because of how quickly the skin heals.
Burns - If you ever get burned, the best way to treat it would be to apply a soothing gel. Cells have been damaged by the extreme heat and the skin is quite sensitive. Control the pain by either adding Aloe Vera products or aqueous creams.
Flesh Wounds - You might notice that these refuse to close up in short periods of time and often leave you with permanent scars. Before patching it up, you need to hold up the area which is bleeding above your head. This stops blood from escaping from that part of your body. Eventually, it should clot up and it will be safe to relax your body. Keep this wound open so that it can dry out. It's also a good idea to gently pat antiseptic chemicals on whilst you are healing. Thereafter, put a bandage around the area so that you are protected from the skin breaking and give the wound a chance to heal. You need to free the area of any bacteria as much as possible.
Vein Hit - Perhaps you slip and fall, and end up on a piece of broken glass. Accidents happen so quickly. You never know what could happen. You need to apply as much pressure as you possibly can to this area. The more pressure you apply, the less blood will escape. Once again, you should hold this part of your body above your head so that not a lot of blood gets released. You will also need to apply ice to thicken the blood.
You need to see a doctor if any severe accidents happen or if you are unsure of how to treat the wound. Stitches are the quickest and easiest way to get patched up. Antiseptic chemicals and plasters can be found at any retailer or cash and carry wholesaler so it might be a good idea to keep some in stock for these eventualities. Hospitals usually make it a priority to get these chemicals for rapid treatment against bacteria.

Meet a Champion Who Gives New Meaning to Never, Ever, Ever Give Up

There are people in life who amaze you, and then there are people who are so far beyond amazing that there are no words to describe them.
Such a one is 17-year-old Kobey Pritchard from Indianola, Iowa who is a state-level competitive wrestler. He's eying a future NCAA championship-and doing so with only one leg. Yes, you read that correctly, Kobey trains like a fiend to achieve with one leg what many athletes dream of with two. And that's without the benefit of a prosthetic.
Kobey's leg was amputated when he was six due to cancer. When he found the prosthesis uncomfortable, he switched to crutches. Which means he trains--sprints, lifts weights and works out--on crutches.
Why did I choose to introduce you to Kobey? Because he gives new meaning to "never ever ever give up!" I don't care which goal you have in mind, most of us fall down, not on dreaming our dreams, but on keeping-on keeping-on when the going gets tough. Can you imagine the number of challenges, not just physical, but mental and emotional that Kobey has faced as he's worked his way ever closer to his wrestling championship dreams? Yet none of them have deterred him from keeping-on.
So what's the secret? How can you develop a Kobey-like "never give up" attitude?
1. Don't listen to other people's nay-saying.
Whenever you go for a significant goal, there are bound to be people who will say "You can't do that, you're too young/old/short/tall/lazy/etc. (fill in the blank)" or "What makes you think you can do it?" or "You've never managed anything like that before" or any number of other "You can'ts." The one thing you can't do - is listen to them!
2. Hitch your wagon to a star.
Whatever you dream of doing/being, someone else either has done it, possibly in another field, or has come darn close. Someone you can admire, be inspired by, and in a sense, pulled forward by. Look for such people - alive or long gone - to help you remember that whatever it is, you can do it!
3. There's more than one way of doing things.
Kobey has had to develop techniques and skills that are different from the more traditional wrestling holds in order to win despite his missing leg. This is not a "one size fits all" world. There are as many ways of doing things as there are individuals on the planet. Have the courage to go outside the usual ways of approaching your goals whenever you feel stymied by the ways most people have adopted.
You truly can achieve whatever goal it is you have in mind, as long as your passion for that goal fuels you, and your absolute faith in your ability to somehow, some way, accomplish it is unwavering.

There Are No Dry Topics

There are no dry topics, just dry training.
If you don't believe me, consider these two creative participant-centered learning activities that replace the lecture typically used for teaching rules and benefits.
These activities were designed and facilitated during the Professional Trainers' Certificate program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Continuing Studies.
Note: For both activities, the participants are seated five to a table. The activities work best if there is an even number of participants and no more than 5 content items.
Using art to teach rules and test retention. (With thanks to James Phetteplace)
1. Provide a list of the rules.
2. Have each participant at each table draw a picture to illustrate one of the rules, so that all of the rules are drawn at the table.
3. Have the participants write out the rule they've just drawn on the other side of their paper drawing.
4. Pairing two tables, ask for a volunteer representative from each table.
5. Have the table representatives trade the pictures from their respective tables with each other.
6. Have one of the table representatives show the other table's pictures to their group.
7. See how quickly that group can recite the correct rule when viewing the other group's pictures.
8. Repeat actions (6) and (7) with the other table.
9. If desired, this can be competitive so the table group that recites the correct rules the fastest wins a prize.
Research has shown that visual images are remembered and recalled much more easily than words, so this activity is very effective.
Using color-coded Q and A to teach employee benefits. (With thanks to Tara Pray)
1. Provide color-coded reference pages with the relevant new benefits information.
2. Pairing two tables, give the participants at one table small slips of paper with the questions and the other table's participants small slips of paper with the answers.
3. Color code the Q and Q slips with the relevant benefits information.
4. Have the differently color-coded pairs work together to discover the information that shows the Q and the A.
5. Provide a fill in the blanks worksheet with all of the questions, leaving the answers blank.
6. Have each pair read their Q and A- so everyone can write them down on the worksheet.
7. Also have each pair indicate the page in the reference where they found that Q and A.
The resulting worksheet with key benefits questions and answers, as well as the page of the relevant reference, becomes a useful job aid.
How do you bring "dry" topics to life?

Quality Exercise for Good Health

"Take Control Of Your Health Naturally"
Is There Such a Thing as Bad Exercise?
All exercise is good for your health, right? I have recently found out that is not the case. There are several factors that go into deciding what exercise is good for your particular health and what you are trying to accomplish. Studies have repeatedly shown that high-endurance training, such as running for an hour at a time, puts extraordinary stress on your heart. While stressing a muscle usually makes it stronger, extremely high stress can have the opposite effect. When it comes to your heart muscle this is probably not the result you want. High levels of oxidative stress and inflammation can cause damage to the heart tissues leading up to triggering a cardiac event.
Quality vs Quantity
The key to quality exercise for good health is not measured by how long you workout but by the quality of the exercise that you actually do. Our mindset is programmed to think that someone who jogs for 1 hour gets a better workout than someone who does a 20 minute workout. However, a 20 minute workout that incorporates high intensity, multi-level exercise, with proper recovery and stretching can provide just as much or more.
Diversity and Intensity
Functional exercises involve training the body for the activities performed in daily life. These include exercises like squats, planks, lunges, knee lifts, jumping jacks and sit ups. These incorporate the diversity and give you the dimensional training that your body needs. When you exercise in multiple planes, (frontwards and backwards, side-to-side, and rotational) it allows you to target muscles from all angles so that you don't develop imbalances. Imbalances can promote injury. This also adds efficiency to your workout by allowing high intensity interval training thus cutting down on time needed to complete your workout.
Recovery and Stretching
Recovery time is as important as the actual workout itself. High intensity workouts absolutely require recovery time. As your intensity increases, you typically need to decrease the frequency of your workout to ensure your body has time to repair and recuperate between sessions. For this reason, it is NOT recommended to do high intensity exercises more than three times a week. Over-exercising can sabotage your fitness efforts. In the case of over exercising, your body will go into an elevated stress response mode which keeps your cortisol levels elevated. Cortisol, also known as "the stress hormone," is secreted by your adrenal glands and is involved in regulating your insulin, glucose levels, and controlling inflammation. Elevated cortisol will cause your body to store fat instead of building muscle. For this reason it is important to listen to your body and get the important rest that is needed to recover.
It is also important to not overlook the importance of stretching at the beginning and end of each workout. Stretching works with your body's natural physiological makeup to improve circulation and increase the elasticity of muscle joints. Stretching also allows your body to repair itself and prepare for activity.
Remember:
Quality exercise for good health includes high intensity, multi-dimensional exercise with proper stretching and downtime.

Is Your Child Being Prepared for Communication in the Future?

The aim is not to blast our educational programs. We all know there is a lot of room for improvement. However, my questions go deeper than reading, writing, and arithmetic. You see, while these are the building blocks they are not the end.
VIDEO PRODUCTION AS A SKILL-SET
To be productive in today's world you should have some mastery in multimedia skills. These skills will be critical to the success of our children. We are globally connected, business today can be as easily conducted on the other side of the world as if it were next door. Therefore, our students will need the skill-set to communicate across language and cultural barriers. One of these skills will be the ability to create and produce video presentations on a professional level. Having an eye for design will help and understanding composition and storytelling is a must.
The way we communicate today is constantly evolving. As technologies improve and new innovations are continuously developing we can expect more changes to the conducting of business, education, and social interaction.
THE FUTURE OF COMMUNICATION
New multimedia is so widespread that it was included as one of the six drivers of change in the report created by the Institute for the Future called; Future Work Skills 2020. The report states that "We are literally developing a new vernacular, a new language, for communication." They are speaking about the language of video production.
The report also states, "The next generation of workers will need to become fluent in forms such as video, able to critically "read" and assess them in the same way that they currently assess a paper or presentation. They will also need to be comfortable creating and presenting their own visual information." The word "comfortable" rings out, therefore, it is essential that our children learn storytelling techniques, video production techniques, and good communication habits early.
TECHNOLOGY READY
The greatest part about all of this is that most of our children have what they need already to start practicing. That's right... A smartphone with a camera, a tablet with a camera, laptop with a camera, or a small digital camera and a computer. There are some free programs and apps to download which will enable you to edit. When you get better you will have to pay a little more for an app or program. Just getting you child started is a good thing.
Yes, we know that some of our children are already posting videos on social media sites like Facebook and YouTube. However, this is not what we are talking about. We are talking about creating content that has a professional look and feel. That has great shots, audio and maybe background music. Where the student has planned that video production to purposely tell a story. Maybe about their neighborhood, best friend, favorite pet, news story, or just tell a story.
This is the kind of skill that translates into the ability to produce advertisements to sell products, video resumes, or present a business idea. How about creating an opportunity for those students that go all the way and become the next great cinematographer, movie producer, or director. Let's find out!
KRE8ivU is a Multimedia Program
For middle and high school aged students. Our program teaches students to produce professional music, audio, and video projects. The object is to help students find their creative talents by learning advanced storytelling in music and video.
Our Goals Are Clear at KRE8ivU

Cradle Song And Their Origin

A cradle song, or lullaby is a sweet and soothing piece of music, which is sung or played to little ones to lull them to sleep. These lullabies are often used to pass down cultural values and tradition. In addition, the cradle songs are also beneficial in developing communication skills and maintaining infants' undivided attention. Cradle song is often repetitive as it is a sleep aid for infants and easy for moms to sing.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" is a popular English cradle song. The lullaby was first published in 1806 in "Rhymes for the Nursery, a collection of poems" by Taylor and his sister Ann. It is often sung to the tune of Ah! vous dirai-je, maman, a French melody. "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" English lyrics have five stanzas, but only the first is widely known and sung across the globe.
Rock-a-bye Baby
"Rock-a-bye Baby" is one of the well-known lullabies. Various theories have been related to the origin of this song. One of the theories identifies a song as a first rhyme written on American song, by an English immigrant, who observed how the native-American women rocked their little ones in birch-bark cradles, which were tied to tree branches.
One of the theories suggests that the song refers to events immediately preceding the Glorious Revolution. The "baby" is referred to be the son of James VII and II. "Wind" in the lyrics is said to be the Protestant coming from Netherlands bringing James' nephew and son-in-law William of Orange, who would throw out King James II in the revolution. The "cradle" is said to be a resident of the royal family. The earliest recorded version of a song in print appeared with a footnote, "This may serve as a warning to the Proud and Ambitious, who climb so high that they generally fall at last".
In England, the local legend relates the rhyme to a local character, Betty Kenny (Kate Kenyon), who was surviving with her charcoal-burner husband, Luke and their eight kids in a huge yew tree, where a hollowed-out bough served as a cradle.
Hush Little Baby
"Hush Little Baby" is a traditional cradle song for infants, sung by moms to lull their little ones to sleep. An author and date of this folk song is unknown. It is believed that it was written in the Southern United States. Simple and sweet lyrics in the rhyme promises all kinds of rewards to the kids if he or she is quiet.
Enjoy singing sooting lullabies such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Hush a Bye Baby and more to put your adorable infants to sleep.

True-Self: Can Someone Lose Themselves When They Have The Need To Please Others?

It could be said that there are two worlds: the inner world and the outer world. When it comes to the inner world, it is going to relate to what is taking place within and, when it relates to the outer world, it will relate to what is going on without.
A Fine Balance
Even so, this doesn't mean that the inner world is separate from the outer world; the inner will influence the outer and vice versa. And, in order for someone to be able to express their true self, it is going to be vital for them to have a strong connection with what is taking place within them.
Along with this, it is also going to be essential for them to have a good connection with their outer world. What this will do is allow them to take in new information and to connect to their fellow human beings.
Relationships
One will then have the ability to put themselves in other people's shoes, and this will enable them to form strong connections with others. What is taking place within them will be important, but it won't cause them to overlook what is going on around them.
If a relationship wasn't a two way process, it wouldn't matter if one had the ability to tune into what is taking place for another person. So, through being this way, one will be able to extend themselves to others and to bridge the gap that exists between them.
One Experience
Consequently, if one is too concerned with what is taking place within them, it is going to cause them to come across as being self-centred. Their needs will be the only thing that matter and they won't have a lot of time for others.
Naturally, this is going to push a lot of people away, and one might then have a very lonely existence. Or, they could have people in their life who are only too happy to focus on their needs, and this is likely to show that they don't value themselves.
No Boundaries
Through being unable to empathise, they will probably have the tendency to walk over others. Their priority will be to fulfil their needs and it is then not going to matter how their behaviour affects the people around them.
As long as they get what they want they will be happy, and this is going to cause a lot of people to suffer. After someone has spent time with them, it could take them a little while to recover.
Win-Lose
They will have given something to this person but they won't have been given anything back. It might then be in their best interest to make sure that they don't come into contact with them again.
And if this is something that they experience on a regular basis, it might be a good idea for them to look into why this is taking place. What they may find is that they don't feel comfortable with their own needs and that they lack boundaries, amongst other things.
Another Experience
On the other hand, if one is too concerned with what is taking place around them, it can cause them to ignore what is taking place within them. Other people's needs and feelings will be the only thing that matter.
There is then the chance that one will have plenty of people in their life, but they can still end up feeling cut-off. What could stop the people in their life from realising what is taking place is that one could act as thorough everything is fine.
The Other Extreme
Clearly, one is not going to have the propensity to walk over others; however, what they will be used to is being walked over others. They may find that it is easy for them to tune into others people's emotions and to pay attention to their needs.
They could find that they feel good after they have pleased another person, and this is going to cause them to receive a lot of positive feedback from others. One is then neglecting themselves but they are getting something in return.
Out of Balance
Although this kind of behaviour can be seen as being better than ignoring other people's needs, it is still going to cause one to experience problems. Through being focused on what is going on around them, it is not going to be possible for them to have their own life.
Their need to please others will have taken over their life and their true-self is rarely, if ever, going to see the light of day. It is then going to be essential for them to focus more on what is taking place within them and less on what is going on around them.
A Deeper Look
Nevertheless, behaving in this way may have kept them alive at one point in time, and this is why behaving in this way can be what feels comfortable. The part of them that wants to live their own life is then going to be pushed to one side and the part of them that has attached their survival to pleasing others will have taken over.
What this can show is that they were abused and/or neglected during their younger years. If they didn't focus on their caregiver/s needs, their very survival would have been at risk.
Awareness
The years will have gone by but what took place all those years ago will still be defining their life. There will be the beliefs that one developed when they were younger and they could be carrying trauma.
If one can relate to this, and they want to change their circumstances, it might be necessary for them to work with a therapist or a healer. This will give them the opportunity to heal themselves.
